Petalby ~songee

Petal has been bouncing around in my head for a while now. All of last quarter, I doodled her in my notebooks, on assignments and occasionally on full pieces of paper. She's supposed to be an anthropomorphization of Petal Tea. This is a tentative final version? She always has her hair in buns and a Chinese style dress, but she's gone through many changes.

Petal's final(?) design is heavily based off of this expensive teacup I once saw, which was patterned with poppy flowers. Her original design was more "kung-fu girl"-like, hence the umbrella. I went through fans, belled ribbons and ginormous bells before settling on an umbrella, because I keep drawing her with various umbrellas/parasols.

Took me 4-5 hours in Photoshop, but I was also watching/listening to Casino Royale and The Hangover. What can I say, my brother insisted on movies and I got distracted.

No background because I got tired.
